Company Commences Operation of Hyatt Regency Tokyo in Shinjuku, Tokyo – Leveraging Diverse Operational Expertise to Drive Further Growth –
Hotel Management Japan Co., Ltd. (HMJ) today announced that it has commenced operation of the Hyatt Regency Tokyo, located in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
In addition to its proprietary brands, “Oriental Hotel” and “Hotel Oriental Express,” the company operates and manages a diverse portfolio of hotels under brands such as “Hilton,” “Sheraton,” and “Hotel Nikko.” With the addition of the Hyatt Regency Tokyo, the group portfolio now comprises 26 hotels with a total of 8,831 rooms as of March 13, 2026.

Hyatt Regency Tokyo is ideally located in the heart of Nishi-Shinjuku, adjacent to the greenery of Shinjuku Central Park. Celebrating its 45th anniversary, the hotel has undergone a large-scale renovation incorporating timeless design inspired by Shinjuku’s cultural heritage and vibrant energy across guest rooms and key facilities.
The iconic lobby features three chandeliers adorned with approximately 115,000 Swarovski crystals. Newly introduced facilities include the all-day dining restaurant “Crossroads Kitchen” and the lounge bar “Nineteen Eighty Lounge & Bar,” offering guests an elevated experience through refined hospitality and enhanced amenities.
The hotel offers 712 guest rooms, including suites, 18 banquet rooms including the “Century Room” with a capacity of up to 1,000 guests, as well as a fitness gym and spa with panoramic views from the upper floors—providing comprehensive facilities to meet a wide range of guest needs.
