On Saturday, July 20, 2024, Hotel Nikko Alivila/Yomitan Resort Okinawa (Address: 600 Gima, Yomitan Village, Nakagami District, Okinawa Prefecture / General Manager: Koichi Nakajima) and Grand Mercure Okinawa Zanpamisaki Resort (Address: 1575 Uza, Yomitan Village, Nakagami District, Okinawa Prefecture / General Manager: Jiho Kang) will begin a mutual use service for all guests staying at either hotel, allowing them to use the facilities of both hotels for the price of their accommodation (some additional fees may apply). Grand Mercure Okinawa Zanpamisaki Resort, which opened on April 1 and will have its pool grand opening in August, and Hotel Nikko Alivila are celebrating their 30th anniversary since their opening, and the two hotels located in the Yomitan area are teaming up to further attract guests to the area.
Background to the launch of this service
According to Okinawa Prefecture's "Reiwa 4 Tourism Statistics Survey" (※ 1), Okinawa Prefecture, one of the leading tourist destinations in Japan, has an average stay of 3.70 days in 2019, but will increase to 4.25 days in 2022. In order to provide a more fulfilling resort experience for guests staying multiple nights, both hotels will provide mutual services.
